  • Stripe Account Information: As part of the registration, businesses are required to link a Stripe account. This account is used for processing all payment transactions securely through Faast, ensuring financial activities are directly managed within the user's Stripe account.

End-users (customers) can access and browse the platform without creating an account. However, to complete a transaction, the following information is necessary at checkout:
  • Email Address: Required for sending digital invoices and order confirmations. This email may also be used for promotional communications, should the user opt-in.

  • Manage Business Information: Users can update their business details including opening hours, location, and other pertinent information, some of which may be automatically populated from Google Business profiles.
End-users (customers) engage with the platform by:
  • Providing Email at Checkout: Necessary for transaction confirmation and invoice delivery. This information may also be used for promotional communications if consent is given.
  • Interacting with Menus and Placing Orders: Including adding items to their cart, specifying order details, and submitting orders for processing.
Ownership of Content
  • Business-Generated Content: All content created, uploaded, or posted to the platform by businesses, including menus, photos, and business information, remains the intellectual property of the respective business or the content's rightful owner. Faast claims no ownership rights over such content. However, by uploading content to the platform, businesses grant Faast a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute the content in connection with the platform's services.
  • User-Generated Content: Any content provided by end-users, such as reviews or images, remains the property of the individual user. Faast does not claim ownership of this content but may require a license to use it for the operation and promotion of the platform.
Responsibility for ContentUsers are solely responsible for ensuring that any content they create, upload, or share on the platform does not violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of third parties, and complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Faast reserves the right to remove any content that is found to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions, or that is otherwise deemed inappropriate or harmful.
Payment and Fees Structure
Payment Processing via StripeFaast integrates with Stripe, a leading online payment processing platform, to facilitate secure and efficient transactions for food and beverage businesses utilizing our services. Here's how the process works:
  • Stripe Account Connection: Businesses using Faast must create and connect their Stripe account to our platform. This connection enables the direct processing of payments from customers to the business's Stripe account, ensuring a streamlined financial transaction system.
  • Transaction Flow: When a customer places an order through Faast, the payment is processed via Stripe. The order amount, minus applicable fees, is deposited directly into the business's Stripe account. This setup allows businesses full control over their financial transactions with transparency and security.
Fees InvolvedFaast employs a transparent fee structure, designed to support businesses in maximizing their profitability while benefiting from our comprehensive suite of services. The fees involved are as follows:
  • Faast Commission: For each order processed through the platform, Faast charges a commission fee of 1.5% + €0.20. This fee is automatically deducted from the total order value at the time of transaction processing.
  • Stripe Fees: In addition to the Faast commission, businesses are responsible for covering Stripe's standard transaction fees. These fees are subject to Stripe's terms and conditions and may vary based on the business's location and other factors. Businesses are encouraged to review Stripe's fee structure to fully understand the costs involved.
Fee ResponsibilityThe responsibility for all fees associated with transactions processed through Faast, including both Faast's commission and Stripe's transaction fees, lies with the businesses. It is important for businesses to account for these fees when setting menu prices and considering their overall pricing strategy on the platform.By registering with Faast and connecting a Stripe account, businesses agree to this payment and fee structure. It is designed to ensure a fair and sustainable model for both Faast and the businesses we serve, facilitating the growth and success of food and beverage establishments through digital innovation.
User Conduct
Users of Faast, including both businesses and their customers, are required to adhere to the following rules to ensure a respectful, lawful, and positive experience on the platform:
  • Legal Compliance: Users must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines related to their activities on Faast.
  • Respectful Interaction: Users should engage respectfully with one another, avoiding any behavior that could be considered harassing, abusive, or discriminatory.
  • Accurate Information: All information provided to Faast, whether for the purpose of creating an account, listing a business, or placing an order, must be accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • Intellectual Property: Users must respect the intellectual property rights of others. This includes not uploading content that infringes on the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of third parties.
